Slightly wider baths need the right end finish, and 750mm end bath panels are designed for short exposed sides where a 700mm end panel would not reach properly. They help cover the bath frame, waste area and plumbing below, making the bath look more built in from the side. This width is useful for roomier straight baths that still need a tidy, coordinated surround.
TAILS’ PANEL SIZE CHECK
Finish a wider bath end neatly
750mm end bath panels conceal the exposed short end of a compatible bath, creating a more complete appearance while keeping plumbing and supports out of sight. This wider nominal size suits selected 750mm bath ends, but height, corner profile, panel thickness and fixing method must also match the installation.
Is a 750mm End Bath Panel Right for Your Bath?
Compare bath width, panel height and corner alignment before buying
Your bath end is compatible
A 750mm wide end bath panel is intended for the exposed short side of a suitably sized bath. Confirm the bath’s precise end width and approved panel range rather than assuming every bath described as 750mm wide uses the same panel.
One short end remains visible
The panel provides a finished surface where the bath end faces into the room instead of meeting a wall. It can be combined with a compatible front panel to conceal the adjoining long side and complete an L-shaped exposed arrangement.
The panel height aligns correctly
Buying by width alone is insufficient because bath rims, legs and finished installation heights vary. Compare the stated panel height with the supported bath position and adjoining front panel so the lower edges and top lines meet cleanly.
Your bath uses another width
A narrower or wider end panel is required when the bath’s short side does not match the selected 750mm format. An incorrectly sized panel may leave gaps, project beyond the bath rim or fail to meet the front panel properly.
The bath has a shaped end
A straight 750mm panel may not suit curved, offset or specially profiled baths. Select the model-specific shaped panel where required, as the correct nominal width does not guarantee that its corners and upper edge follow the bath shell.
Both bath ends meet walls
An end panel is unnecessary when neither short side remains exposed after installation. In a wall-to-wall recess, only a compatible front panel may be needed, subject to the bath design and the way surrounding surfaces are finished.
750mm End Bath Panel FAQs
Exact sizing, front-panel alignment and fitting compatibility explained
-
Is a 750mm end panel exactly 750mm wide?
The stated size may be nominal rather than the precise finished measurement. Check the product drawing and the corresponding bath dimensions, particularly when the panel must meet a front panel at a closely aligned corner.
-
Will it fit any 750mm-wide bath?
No. Baths with the same nominal width can differ in rim shape, height, corner detail and fixing arrangement. Confirm that the selected panel is approved for the individual bath or has dimensions suitable for that exact installation.
-
Can the end panel be cut to fit?
Only when the manufacturer states that trimming is permitted. Some panels can be adjusted within specified limits, while others have finished edges or construction that should not be cut. Follow the individual fitting instructions before altering the panel.
DESIGNER’S NOTE
Align the end panel’s top edge and corner joint precisely with the front panel, allowing the 750mm bath end to read as one continuous, deliberately finished enclosure.
