Finishing the outside of the bath properly is where bath panels make the difference, covering pipework and the bath frame for a neater fitted look. Choose the material and panel type around how the bathroom is used, from easy-clean acrylic to painted MDF or warmer wood-effect designs. Front panels cover the main visible length of the bath, while matching end panels may be needed for exposed sides.

Find the correct panel for any fitted bath

Which Type of Bath Panel Does Your Bath Need?

Start with the bath shape, identify every exposed side and then match the exact panel profile

Shop This Bath Panel Collection If

You need panels for a straight bath

Straight baths commonly use a long front panel, with a separate end panel added when one short side remains exposed. Compare the bath length, panel height and corner relationship so both pieces meet neatly around the finished installation.

Your bath has a curved or asymmetric exterior

Corner baths, bowed baths and P-shaped or L-shaped shower baths usually require a dedicated curved or moulded panel. These panels follow the sanitaryware’s outer contour and may also be handed, so the exact bath model and orientation should guide your purchase.

You want to compare different panel finishes

The wider range can include white acrylic panels, coloured furniture-style designs and timber or wood-effect finishes. This lets you choose whether the panel should blend with the bath itself or coordinate more closely with vanity units and bathroom storage.

Narrow to a More Specific Bath Panel Category If

You already know which bath side is exposed

The parent collection includes both front and end panels, so many products may be irrelevant once the required position is known. Shopping directly by front or end panel can make it quicker to compare the correct lengths and finishes.

Your bath needs a dedicated shaped panel

Curved and shower-bath panels are not interchangeable with ordinary straight panels. Narrowing by bath shape, model and handing reduces the risk of selecting a panel that matches the headline dimensions but cannot follow the actual outer profile.

You are matching existing bathroom furniture

A specific wooden, coloured or furniture-style panel category may help you compare coordinated finishes more efficiently. This is useful where the panel should relate to cabinetry rather than simply reproduce the white surface of the bath.

Bath Panel FAQs

Straight, curved, front and end bath panels explained

  • What types of bath panels are included in this category?

This main category can include straight front panels, short end panels, curved panels and model-specific surrounds for corner, bowed and shower baths. Available materials and finishes can also range from moulded white panels to furniture-style and wood-effect designs.

  • Do curved baths need special panels?

Yes. A curved or asymmetrical bath normally needs a dedicated panel moulded to its exact exterior shape. The panel may also be left- or right-handed, so confirm the bath model and orientation rather than choosing by length alone.

  • How do I know whether I need a front panel, an end panel or both?

A front panel covers the long exposed side of a straight bath, while an end panel covers a visible short side. A bath between three walls generally needs only a front panel, whereas a bath fitted into a corner may require both.

  • Will any panel fit a bath with the same dimensions?

No. Baths with similar overall measurements can differ in rim shape, height, curvature and fixing details. A compatible panel from the same range is especially important for shower baths, corner baths and other shaped designs.

  • Can bath panels be trimmed?

Some straight panels allow limited adjustment, but this varies by material and design. Curved, moulded and decorative panels are less likely to be suitable for cutting, so check the manufacturer’s instructions before altering any panel.

DESIGNER’S NOTE

Let the bath shape lead the choice: keep straight installations crisp with clean panel lines, while using the dedicated moulded surround on a curved or shower bath to preserve its intended silhouette.
