This 1000mm KV6 option offers a well-balanced glazed frontage for a shower recess without moving into the scale of the wider doors in the range. Clear 6mm glass keeps the shower area visually connected to the rest of the bathroom, while the polished chrome frame gives the edges a crisp, defined finish. Its straightforward framed design works particularly well where the aim is to create a bright enclosure with visible structure rather than patterned glass or minimal frameless detailing. The result is a practical middle-width option with a clean and familiar bathroom appearance.
Consider how the opening movement, fixed height and visible frame will work within your planned shower layout.
The sliding panel moves within the frame, avoiding the outward clearance required by a conventional hinged shower door.
The polished chrome framing suits bathrooms planned around bright, reflective metal details.
This model is suitable where the available enclosure space has been planned for its fixed 1850mm door height.
The glass does not have an easy-clean treatment, so this feature would need to be found on another model.
The visible framed construction will not suit a bathroom design centred on almost uninterrupted glass.
This door uses transparent clear glass and is unsuitable where frosted or patterned screening is preferred.
The 1000mm measurement is the nominal size used to identify the door. Its actual stated adjustment range is 950-990mm, so the completed shower opening must fall within those measurements rather than measuring exactly 1000mm.
Reversible installation means the door can be configured for either left- or right-hand access. This allows the opening orientation to be selected according to the approach to the shower and the arrangement of the surrounding bathroom.
The profiles provide adjustment where the installation walls are slightly out of true rather than perfectly vertical. They allow the frame to be aligned while remaining within the specified 950-990mm fitting range.
