The Scudo S6 side panel is a smart choice for creating the fixed glass side of a rectangular corner enclosure without making the shower area feel boxed in. Its broad clear pane allows decorative tiles and wall finishes to remain visible, while the chrome aluminium frame gives the edges a crisp, coordinated look. The 6mm glass provides a reassuringly substantial shower boundary, and the Aqua-Shield treatment helps make regular cleaning more manageable. Designed for finished dimensions between 970mm and 990mm, it offers useful fitting flexibility while maintaining the generous proportions associated with a nominal 1000mm panel.
Check the finished tray or installation width and make sure you are selecting the panel as part of a suitable corner shower arrangement.
The nominal 1000mm format helps create a more spacious rectangular enclosure where the room can accommodate a broader side panel.
Clear glass keeps the wall treatment visible, allowing patterned, textured or coloured tiles to remain part of the room’s design.
The Aqua-Shield treatment is intended to make routine cleaning simpler than untreated glass.
This product is the fixed side panel only and does not provide the separate shower entrance needed to complete the enclosure.
The finished installation width must suit the 970–990mm adjustment range rather than measuring a full 1000mm.
The panel has a visible framed profile, so it will not provide the minimal appearance of a frameless shower screen.
A side panel forms the fixed glass wall at the end of a corner shower enclosure. It does not open and is normally paired with a compatible shower door on the adjoining side. This allows an enclosure to be created where the shower is positioned against two walls rather than inside a three-sided alcove.
The 1000mm figure is the nominal size used to identify the panel, while 970–990mm is its actual adjustment range. Measure the finished installation area after wall coverings are complete and check the width at more than one height. The final measurement must fall within the stated range rather than matching the nominal size exactly.
No. Aqua-Shield is an easy-clean treatment intended to help reduce the effort required for routine care, but water marks and bathroom residue can still develop. Wiping the panel with a shower squeegee after use and cleaning it regularly with a suitable non-abrasive product will help keep the clear glass looking its best.
