The Scudo S6 1000mm sliding shower door is a well-judged option for creating a neat shower recess where every bit of surrounding floor space counts. Its soft-close panel moves within the frame, so there is no door swinging towards nearby furniture or sanitaryware. The clear glass keeps the shower area feeling open, while the chrome profiles provide a bright, versatile finish that works with most modern bathroom fittings. Reversible installation and adjustable wall profiles make planning more flexible, while Aqua-Shield treatment helps keep the glass looking smarter with less effort.
A practical guide to checking the recess dimensions, access width and installation style before ordering this Scudo S6 shower door.
The sliding panel stays within the enclosure footprint, making it useful where a hinged door could obstruct the room.
The soft-close mechanism gives the moving panel a smoother, more refined closing action during regular use.
The 950mm-990mm adjustment range provides fitting tolerance once the walls have been tiled and completed.
The clear entry width is 390mm, so a larger sliding door or another opening style may provide more comfortable access.
The maximum fitting width is 990mm, so the nominal size should not be used instead of the stated adjustment range.
The polished chrome profile may not provide the coordinated appearance wanted alongside black or other dark bathroom finishes.
Measure the finished tiled opening at the top, middle and bottom. Each measurement must allow the door to fit within its 950mm-990mm adjustment range.
No. The panel slides along the enclosure rather than swinging inwards or outwards, so no separate door-swing clearance is needed.
Yes. The reversible design allows left or right hand installation, helping the shower opening work around the surrounding bathroom layout.
