The Scudo S6 1000 x 800mm double door offset quadrant shower enclosure is a neat way to create a comfortable corner shower without committing to a larger 1200mm footprint. The curved clear glass front softens the layout, while the chrome frame and slim vertical handles give it a bright, polished look. Its double sliding doors meet cleanly at the front, giving access without needing door swing space in the bathroom. With Aqua Shield easy clean glass treatment, concealed fixings and universal left or right hand fitting, it is a practical enclosure with a tidy modern finish.
A practical guide to whether this Scudo S6 double door enclosure suits your corner shower space, access needs and chrome bathroom scheme.
The 1000mm x 800mm footprint suits bathrooms that need more room than a compact quadrant but cannot take a longer 1200mm enclosure.
The double sliding door design gives front access without a hinged panel opening out into the room, helping around nearby sanitaryware or furniture.
The chrome aluminium profile and clear glass are a good match for bathrooms using chrome showers, taps, towel rails or polished accessories.
This enclosure adjusts to 970mm-990mm and 770mm-790mm, so it will not suit walls that finish outside those measurements.
The entry width is 420mm, so choose a different door style or larger enclosure if a wider entrance is your main requirement.
The 550mm radius gives this enclosure a curved quadrant front, so it is not the right choice for a flat rectangular shower doorway.
Measure the finished tiled space on both sides of the corner. This enclosure adjusts from 970mm to 990mm on one side and 770mm to 790mm on the other, so those are the key fitting ranges to check.
The curved front helps the enclosure sit more softly into a corner than a square-front design. The two sliding doors open from the front, which keeps access tidy without needing extra space outside the enclosure for door swing.
The enclosure uses different glass thicknesses for the fixed and sliding sections. The fixed panels are 5mm and the moving panels are 6mm, which gives a more accurate picture of the enclosure construction as compared to other websites that list it as 6mm.
