The Kartell Refine Single End 1700mm x 750mm thin edge bath is a clean, minimal bath for modern bathrooms that need generous internal space without bulky edges. The gloss white rectangular shape has soft internal corners and a smooth single ended slope, with the waste and overflow positioned at one end. Its thin rim gives the bath a crisp, contemporary outline, while the 257 litre capacity makes good use of the 1692mm x 742mm footprint. Made in the UK from 5mm acrylic, it includes a leg set and an encapsulated baseboard.
A practical guide to whether this Kartell Refine bath suits your bathroom layout, bathing style and tap planning.
The slim rim and soft square internal shape suit bathrooms where you want a cleaner, more minimal bath outline than a traditional chunky-rimmed design.
With the waste and overflow positioned at one end, this bath is a good match for a classic single ended setup with one main reclining end.
The bath arrives without pre-drilled tap holes, so the tap position can be chosen to suit your brassware choice and the way the bath is fitted.
Choose a double ended bath if you want both ends shaped for relaxing, as this Refine model is a single ended bath.
This bath measures 1692mm by 742mm, so it may not suit compact rooms or alcoves planned around a shorter or narrower bath.
This model is supplied without pre-drilled tap holes, so it is not the simplest option if you want a bath that arrives already drilled for taps.
The external bath size is 1692mm by 742mm, while the internal top measures 1561mm by 676mm. At the base, the internal measurements reduce to 1200mm by 546mm, which helps show how the bathing area narrows towards the bottom.
The thin edge rim gives the bath a sharper, more minimal outline around the top. It works well with the soft internal corners, creating a clean modern contrast between the slim edge and the smooth bathing area.
The bath is supplied with the leg set required for installation. Bath panels, bath waste and taps are sold separately, so those can be selected to suit the final bathroom layout and finish.
