The Kartell Luxe 1700mm x 750mm Twin-Grip Square Single End Bath is a bright, practical upgrade for a modern family bathroom. Its clean rectangular shape and soft square internal bathing area give it a fresh, easy-to-style look, while the chrome twin grips add a useful detail without overcomplicating the design. The single ended layout keeps the waste and overflow at one end, leaving the main bathing end comfortable and uncluttered. With a 240 litre capacity, 5mm acrylic build, encapsulated baseboard and included leg set, it feels reassuringly well thought through.
A practical guide to whether this Kartell Luxe bath suits your bathroom size, bathing style and tap planning.
With a 1692mm length and 740mm width, this bath is well suited to common full-size bathroom layouts needing a 1700mm x 750mm style footprint.
The integrated chrome twin grips are a useful feature if you want extra handhold points while keeping the bath’s overall shape clean and modern.
The end waste and overflow suit a classic single ended arrangement where one end is used for plumbing and the opposite end is the main reclining area.
Choose a double ended bath if you want both ends shaped for relaxing, as this Luxe model is a single ended bath with waste and overflow at one end.
This bath is 740mm wide, so it may not be right if your alcove or bathroom route has been measured for a slimmer bath size.
The chrome twin grips are part of the design, so this is not the best match if you specifically want a completely plain bath edge without grip details.
The external size is 1692mm x 740mm, while the internal top measures 1524mm x 604mm. At the base, the internal measurements reduce to 1280mm x 520mm, so the bathing area narrows as it drops towards the bottom.
The bath arrives without pre-drilled tap holes, giving flexibility over tap positioning. This is useful if you want to choose where the taps are drilled or use an alternative bath tap style that suits the final layout.
The bathtub is supplied with the leg set required for installation and the integrated chrome grips. Bath panels, bath waste and taps are sold separately, so those can be selected to suit your bathroom finish and fitting plan.
