The Elite bath uses an angular L-shaped end to create a clearly defined showering area on the left, making it particularly suited to bathrooms designed around straight lines and square fittings. Its 235-litre capacity also gives it the proportions of a substantial everyday bath rather than treating bathing as a secondary feature. The body narrows from 850mm at the showering end to 700mm along the remaining length, concentrating the extra width where standing space is most useful. An encapsulated base-board supports the 5mm acrylic construction beneath the gloss white surface.
Consider how you divide the room between bathing, showering and nearby sanitaryware before selecting the fixed orientation.
The widened end suits homes that need a practical standing area without installing a separate shower enclosure.
The straight-sided L-shaped outline complements layouts using square screens, furniture and contemporary geometric sanitaryware.
The undrilled rim allows the tap position to be planned around the selected fitting and available installation space.
The enlarged section is fixed on the left when viewed from the front and cannot be reversed during fitting.
The floor plan must accommodate the full 850mm width at one end rather than allowing only 700mm throughout.
This single-ended design has its waste and overflow at the showering end and is not symmetrical internally.
An L-shaped bath has an enlarged, straight-sided section at the showering end rather than a curved front. This creates a more rectangular standing area while the rest of the bath returns to its narrower standard width.
View the bath from the front in its intended installed position. On this model, the wider showering section must be on the left, so check its relationship with the wall, screen position, room entrance and nearby fittings before ordering.
Allow for a bath measuring 1700mm long and up to 850mm wide. Measure external doors, hallways, staircases, landings and bathroom entrances, paying particular attention to corners where the wider L-shaped end must be turned into position.
