The Carronite Quantum 1800 x 800mm bath is a smart choice when you want a clean rectangular bath with a stronger, more substantial feel than standard acrylic. Its square outer rim gives a crisp modern finish, while the sloped internal ends make the double ended shape comfortable and balanced. The Carronite reinforcement adds rigidity and helps the bath retain heat for longer, which is a real advantage for everyday bathing. With a 230 litre capacity, 440mm internal depth and 30 year guarantee, it feels solid, practical and built for long-term use.
A practical guide to whether this Carron Quantum Carronite bath suits your layout, comfort needs and bathroom style.
The 5mm acrylic + Carronite build gives extra reinforcement, making this a stronger, heavier-feeling option than a standard acrylic bath.
The clean rectangular shape and white finish suit contemporary bathrooms where the bath is being paired with straight panels, neat tiling and simple brassware.
The double ended layout gives both ends a relaxing shape, so it works well where more than one person in the home may use the bath differently.
At 1792mm long, this bath needs a room that can take an 1800mm class bath comfortably, with enough space left around the rest of the suite.
The Quantum is a straight rectangular bath for a fitted setup, so it will not give the open, sculptural look of a freestanding bath.
This bath arrives without tap holes, so choose it when you are happy for the tap position to be planned and drilled during fitting.
The waste sits around the middle of the bath length, positioned towards the front edge rather than at one short end. That helps preserve the double ended feel while still keeping the waste accessible in the finished layout.
The internal top measures 1646mm by 619mm, while the internal base narrows to 1220mm by 520mm. Those figures help you understand the shape inside the bath, especially if you are comparing comfort and usable base space rather than just the outside dimensions.
A 30 year guarantee gives extra reassurance when choosing a fitted bath that is expected to stay in place for many years. Paired with the Carronite reinforcement, it makes this Quantum model a confident choice for a long-term bathroom project.
