The Carron Quantum 1700 x 700mm Double End Square Bathtub is a great choice when you want a clean modern bath shape without going wider than a 700mm style footprint. Its double ended layout makes both ends usable for relaxing, while the straight rectangular form suits contemporary bathroom schemes beautifully. The white acrylic finish keeps the room bright, and the bath is supplied without tap holes so your brassware position can be planned around the space. Made in Britain and backed by a 20 year guarantee, it is a dependable choice for a smart bathroom refresh.
A practical guide to whether this Carron Quantum bath suits your bathroom footprint, bathing style and fitting plans.
With a 1692mm length and 692mm width, this Quantum bath suits spaces where a full-length rectangular bath is needed without stepping up to a wider model.
The double ended configuration is ideal if you want both ends of the bath available for reclining, rather than having one end dedicated to the waste and overflow area.
The rectangular shape, white acrylic finish and square styling make this bath a strong match for simple, contemporary bathroom designs.
Choose a single ended bath if your bathroom plan specifically needs one sloped reclining end with the waste and overflow positioned at the opposite end.
This model is 692mm wide externally, so it may not suit customers looking for the extra shoulder room of a wider 750mm or 800mm bath.
This bath is supplied without tap holes, so it is not the best fit if you want a bath that arrives ready-drilled for a fixed tap position.
The external size is 1692mm x 692mm, while the internal top measures 1572mm x 544mm. At the bottom, the internal space is 1225mm x 445mm, so the usable area narrows towards the base of the bath.
The waste position is specified as side, which is important when planning pipework access and panel placement. Check this against your bathroom layout before ordering the waste and arranging installation.
The bath is supplied without tap holes, allowing them to be drilled in a suitable position for your chosen brassware. This gives flexibility, but it also means the tap layout should be decided before final fitting.
