The inward-folding action is the strongest reason to choose this KV6 door, particularly where furniture, sanitaryware or limited floor space makes a conventional hinged opening less practical. Folding into the shower area reduces the space that must be reserved in front of the enclosure while still providing a defined doorway. Adjustable wall profiles also help accommodate walls that are slightly out of true, making the door better suited to real bathroom installations where surfaces may not be perfectly aligned. It is a practical arrangement for creating an enclosed shower without relying on a wide outward-opening arc.
Consider the finished opening, preferred handing and visual style before selecting this particular door configuration.
The adjustable frame is intended for completed shower openings that fall within this specified fitting range.
Its reversible design allows the installation orientation to be chosen according to the approach and arrangement of the room.
This model suits installations where the available wall and enclosure arrangement can accommodate its fixed 1850mm height.
The clear glass does not have an easy-clean treatment, so choose another model if this feature is essential.
This is a fully framed shower door and will not suit customers seeking a minimal frameless appearance.
The polished chrome finish may not suit layouts planned around black, brass or other contrasting metal finishes.
The shower tray and waste are not included and must be purchased separately. A side panel is also sold separately and is required when the door is being used as part of a corner enclosure rather than fitted between existing walls.
The door is made with clear 4mm toughened safety glass. This provides an unobstructed appearance while using safety glass intended for a shower enclosure environment.
The shower door is supplied with a lifetime guarantee. Moving parts and working components have a separate coverage period of 12 months from the original date of purchase.
