This KV6 door makes good use of a wider shower recess without requiring space for a panel to swing across the bathroom. The sliding movement remains within the frame, so nearby furniture and sanitaryware do not have to be positioned around an opening arc. That makes the design particularly relevant where a substantial enclosed shower is planned but the surrounding floor area still needs to remain usable. Its 1100mm nominal format offers a broad glazed frontage while retaining the practical access arrangement that makes sliding doors useful in carefully planned bathroom layouts.
Consider the appearance, glass treatment and fixed height alongside the practical fitting details.
The door uses 6mm toughened safety glass, giving it a more substantial specification than thinner-glass alternatives.
Its polished chrome frame suits schemes where reflective metal detailing is part of the chosen bathroom look.
The transparent glass keeps the shower interior visible rather than introducing a frosted or patterned screen.
This version does not have an easy-clean glass treatment, so it will not meet that particular requirement.
The visible framed construction will not suit a design brief centred on minimal framing or frameless glass.
This door is fixed at 1850mm high and is unsuitable where the enclosure requires another door height.
The 1100mm measurement is the nominal product size rather than the exact finished fitting width. This model is designed to adjust between 1050mm and 1090mm, so the completed opening must fall within that range before installation begins.
Yes. The reversible design allows the door to be configured for either left- or right-hand installation. This lets the orientation be selected around the approach to the shower and the arrangement of the surrounding bathroom.
The adjustable profiles provide fitting allowance where the walls are slightly out of true rather than perfectly vertical. They also allow the frame to be set within the stated adjustment range, but the finished opening should still be measured carefully before ordering.
