The Scudo S8 black grid wetroom panel is a striking way to give a shower area that sought-after industrial look without closing the room in. The screen printed grid detail adds structure and style, while the clear glass keeps the space feeling open. At 1000mm wide, it creates a generous shower screen for walk-in layouts, and the included support arm helps complete the installation neatly. With 8mm toughened safety glass, Aqua Shield treatment and the option to fit onto either a tray or tiled wetroom floor, this panel brings together statement design and everyday practicality.
A useful guide to help decide whether this black grid wetroom panel suits your shower layout, design style and installation surface.
The black grid design is perfect for bathrooms with black brassware, concrete-effect tiles, wood accents or a more architectural finish.
This panel works well in open shower spaces where you want a fixed screen rather than a full enclosure with doors.
The screen can be installed onto a shower tray or a tiled wetroom floor, giving flexibility for different bathroom projects.
The printed grid is a key design feature, so this is not the best choice if you want a barely-there minimalist glass panel.
At 1000mm wide, this panel needs enough room to work comfortably, so smaller spaces may need a narrower wetroom screen.
The profile is matt black, so it may feel out of place in a bathroom where every fitting is polished chrome.
Yes, this panel can be installed onto a shower tray or directly onto a tiled wetroom floor, depending on your bathroom design.
The grid detail is screen printed onto the glass, with 16mm black inner grid lines. This gives the black grid look while keeping the panel easier to wipe down than individual raised bars.
The panel has a 980mm-990mm adjustment range, with 10mm adjustment in the wall channel to help with out-of-true walls during installation.
