The Kartell Astley full pedestal does far more than support a compatible basin. Its tall, elegantly tapered body and softly stepped base bring the kind of architectural detail that makes traditional sanitaryware feel substantial and beautifully finished. Once paired with the matching Astley basin, it conceals the pipework beneath while creating a complete floor-standing silhouette that looks especially convincing beside crosshead taps, classic chrome accessories and panelled bathroom furniture.
Confirm the basin collection, finished floor level and pipework position before installation.
The pedestal is designed to complete a compatible Kartell Astley basin with a coordinated traditional appearance.
The full-height design covers the visible waste and supply area between the basin and finished floor.
The moulded shoulders, tapered body and stepped foot add character beyond a plain modern pedestal.
Compatibility should not be assumed from colour or shape, as another basin may not sit correctly on the pedestal.
This listing contains the full pedestal only, with the matching basin ordered separately to complete the suite.
The floor-standing design creates a traditional pedestal arrangement rather than a clear open space beneath the basin.
No. This product is the Kartell Astley full pedestal only. The compatible Astley basin must be added separately to create the complete floor-standing basin arrangement. Taps, waste and plumbing fittings are also separate, allowing the visible brassware to be selected to suit the wider traditional bathroom design.
The pedestal measures 695mm high, with a maximum width of approximately 265mm and a maximum depth of 182mm. The upper section measures around 200 x 155mm. Check the basin position, finished floor level and available pipework space so the pedestal sits squarely beneath the matching basin without obstructing the waste connection.
The pedestal forms part of the completed basin installation and helps create the traditional floor-standing appearance, but the basin must still be secured using the appropriate wall fixings and installation method. The drawing shows pedestal fixing points spaced 60mm apart with 11mm openings. Installation should follow the basin and pedestal instructions rather than relying on the pedestal as the only support.
