The Affine Amelie 550mm full pedestal basin creates a complete floorstanding wash area, pairing a broad rectangular ceramic bowl with a full pedestal that gives the installation a balanced, traditional basin-and-pedestal silhouette within a modern scheme. Its 415mm projection provides useful everyday washing room without becoming excessively deep, while the single tap hole keeps the brassware arrangement simple and centred; the built-in overflow means a compatible slotted waste is required.
Consider the available floor space, preferred tap arrangement and need for storage before choosing this complete pedestal format.
The included full pedestal creates a finished floorstanding arrangement beneath the basin rather than leaving the underside open.
The 550mm width provides a useful washing area for a main bathroom without moving into an oversized furniture format.
One 35mm tap hole supports a straightforward single-hole basin mixer arrangement.
Check the walkway and nearby door movement carefully, as the basin extends 415mm from the wall.
The full pedestal supports the basin arrangement but does not provide drawers, cupboards or usable bathroom storage.
This basin has one tap hole and will not accommodate individual hot and cold taps.
Yes. The product includes the 550mm ceramic basin and its matching full pedestal, creating a complete floorstanding basin-and-pedestal arrangement. The pedestal forms the visible section beneath the bowl, but it should not be mistaken for a storage cabinet. The tap and waste are not confirmed as included, so these fittings should be checked separately when completing the order.
The completed arrangement measures 855mm high, 550mm wide and projects 415mm from the wall. Use the full projection when checking the remaining walkway, nearby doors and the position of other bathroom fittings. The 855mm measurement represents the overall installed height of the basin and full pedestal combination, helping you compare the finished wash height with surrounding furniture and sanitaryware.
The Amelie basin has an overflow hole, so the waste needs slots that allow overflow water to enter the waste fitting and drain away. An unslotted waste would not provide the correct route for that overflow channel. The basin also has one tap hole measuring 35mm ±2mm, so a compatible mono basin mixer should be selected alongside the slotted waste.
