The Scudo side-entry concealed cistern is designed to do its job quietly behind bathroom furniture or a finished wall, leaving the toilet area looking far cleaner than an exposed cistern arrangement. Its slim 140mm depth makes it useful where internal space is limited, while the cable-operated button gives the fitter more freedom when deciding where the visible flush control should sit. The 6/3-litre dual flush helps reduce unnecessary water use, and the WRAS-approved valve with an integrated air gap adds reassurance for a properly planned installation.
Check the available void depth, right-hand water supply and operating pressure before the wall or furniture is closed.
The compact cistern can sit inside a suitable WC unit, keeping the water tank and pipework hidden from view.
The dual-flush valve provides a 3-litre reduced flush for lighter use and a full 6-litre flush when required.
Cable operation gives more freedom than a rigid mechanical connection when positioning the flush button on furniture or an access panel.
The stated minimum operating pressure is 1 bar, so lower-pressure systems should be checked before installation.
The inlet is positioned on the right side, and the plumbing route must be able to reach it without strain or awkward modification.
The cistern should remain accessible through a removable panel or furniture opening so the valve and internal parts can be serviced later.
The push button connects to the flush valve using a flexible cable rather than a straight rigid rod. This makes the button easier to position through the front or top of suitable bathroom furniture while still operating the concealed valve inside.
The smaller button operates the reduced 3-litre flush for lighter use, while the larger button releases the full 6-litre volume. This allows the user to choose the amount of water needed rather than using the full cistern every time.
Although the cistern is concealed, the internal fill and flush components may eventually need adjustment, cleaning or replacement. A removable furniture panel or service opening allows this work to be carried out without damaging the finished wall or dismantling the full toilet installation.
