The result is a cleaner transition from tile to valve, with no untidy hardware left competing with the shower controls.

Scudo’s instructions state that the pipe centres must match the chosen bar valve, which is commonly 150mm, and that the pipes should project 23mm from the finished wall before assembly. The installer must confirm those requirements against the exact valve being used before cutting or drilling.
