The Scudo Napoli gunmetal open wall-mounted towel holder has a lean, architectural profile, pairing a solid square wall block with a slender ribbon-like brass rail that sweeps around a softly rounded corner before finishing in a subtle raised tip. Its smoky metallic surface brings richer depth than polished chrome, while the open-sided design makes it quick to slide a hand towel into place and gives the basin area a cleaner, less enclosed look than a conventional towel ring.
Allow for the full wall projection and position the open end where towels can be reached without obstruction.
The open end allows a hand towel to be slipped onto the rail from the side, avoiding the need to feed it through a closed ring.
The gunmetal finish can link the holder with darker taps, shower fittings, handles and mirror details without the starkness of solid black.
Its 230mm length provides a defined hanging point beside a basin without taking up the broader wall space required by a full towel rail.
The holder projects 107mm from the wall, so it may conflict with an opening cabinet door, nearby tap or narrow walkway if positioned too closely.
The compact 230mm rail is better suited to a hand towel than the broader hanging space normally chosen for a full-size bath sheet.
This Napoli holder deliberately leaves one side open, so it will not provide the enclosed shape or symmetrical appearance of a conventional ring.
Rather than pulling a towel through a complete ring, you can slide it onto the Napoli rail from its open side. This makes quick replacement easier beside a frequently used basin. The outer end turns slightly upwards, helping create a small visual stop at the end of the flat rail, although the towel should still be positioned securely rather than left hanging only from its edge.
The fitting measures 230mm along the wall and projects 107mm into the room, with a 20mm-high rail. Leave enough side access to use the open end comfortably and check that the holder will not interfere with a mirror, cabinet, tap or door movement. Marking the complete footprint on the wall before fixing can help establish a practical height and position.
The holder uses a broad, flat-edged brass strip rather than a conventional round bar. It curves smoothly away from the square mounting block, runs in a long straight line and rises gently at the open tip. Combined with the dark gunmetal finish, these details give it a more sculptural and architectural appearance while retaining the straightforward function of a compact hand-towel holder.
