The Kartell Nero Round single-outlet matt black shower valve combines a slim portrait faceplate with two substantial circular knobs and narrow pin levers, creating a softer alternative to square concealed controls while retaining a strong architectural presence. Flow and thermostatic temperature adjustment have their own dedicated controls, keeping operation straightforward, while the concealed brass valve leaves only the coordinated matt black trim visible; choose a compatible shower head, arm or handset arrangement separately to complete the single-outlet setup.

The circular controls and slim pin levers can connect visually with round shower heads, outlets and matching Nero accessories.
The upper knob operates the water flow, while the lower control independently adjusts the thermostatic temperature setting.
The valve can work with combi boilers, unvented supplies, gravity-fed systems and shower pumps when the hot and cold pressures are balanced.
This valve controls one outlet and does not provide a diverter for switching between an overhead head and separate handset.
The installation needs between 80mm and 113mm behind the finished wall surface for the concealed valve body.
The shower head, handset, arm, hose and outlet fittings are not included with this valve and must be selected separately.
The upper knob uses quarter-turn ceramic disc headwork to turn the single shower outlet on and off. The lower knob adjusts the water temperature through a separate thermostatic cartridge, with hot, cold and temperature-reference markings arranged around the control. Because this model has one outlet, the upper knob controls flow rather than switching between two different shower functions.
The installed faceplate measures 120mm wide by 215mm high and is 2mm thick, while the two 42mm controls sit at 80mm centres. The concealed installation requires a depth of 80–113mm behind the finished wall, and the controls project by 30mm beyond the plate. Check these dimensions against wall construction, tiles and nearby enclosure profiles before installation begins.
The stated flow increases from 5.7 litres per minute at 0.2 bar to 13.6 litres per minute at 1 bar, 24.5 litres per minute at 3 bar and 28.5 litres per minute at 5 bar. Hot and cold pressures must be balanced, and the chosen shower head or handset should suit the available supply. The valve must operate within its confirmed pressure range of 0.2–5 bar.
